Our Story
The Village Behind the Drum
In Luoyang, Henan Province, Matun Village has grown into one of China's most concentrated drum-making communities. What began as local craft has become a full production ecosystem — timber suppliers, shell makers, drumhead workshops, painters, and packers all working within the same village network.
Matun Drums is a brand rooted in this ecosystem. We work directly with skilled craftsmen and production partners in Matun to build drums for lion dance teams, schools, cultural organizations, retailers, and distributors around the world.
We do not claim to own the entire village's capacity. We do claim a reliable, factory-direct supply chain, honest production capabilities, and the ability to customize size, sound, color, logo, and packaging for serious buyers.
